Accept a person for who they are

In relationships if a female doesn't like they her significant other is they have the tendency to try a change him. i was in a relationship of three 3yrs that just went down the drain because she tried to change everything about me. i told her imma be who i am. I'm not going to change myself to satisfy nobody, cause if you can't accept me for me then we don't need to be together. being who i am wasn't affecting the relationship at all. Im a guy who loves the sport of football. what i used to do is spend time with her on the days the games didn't come. All gutys know football comes on saturday through monday. I might be chilling watching the gane at home with some of my friend and we chilling drinking brews and eating wings. My ex would call me and ask me to stop what i'm doing to come be with her and i'm like what the f**ck shawty. Sometimes she'll come talking out the side of neck to me like she was talking down on me. We got in argument and i told her i couldn't take it anymore. She called me stupid on several occasions and like what???? I graduated with 2.87 GPA from college but i'm stupid. The whole thing is her ex boyfriend did have anything or do anything. he was basically living off of her and the roles in the relationship got changed from girlfriend and boyfriend to mama and child. She used somebody being under her all the time and that ain't me. I got my own crib car and all that, but ex didn't have nothing. I told her i was fed with arguing and fussing over nothing. This been going for three years and on was on the edge and she pushed me over.

Mr.Taylor, you are right. When partners do things that leaves less attention to the other they tend to try to draw more attention upon themselves. I didn't know this was something gender-related though. More character related.
