:-( Advice plz..Really long but im cracking up

Ok So i was with my ex for 3 years...we had the best 3years of our lives together but the relationship was rocky, there were alot of lies, hardly any trust and alot of fighting, but the good times outweighed the bad. I had enough and broke up with him because he wouldnt change his ways. We were apart for 5months then went on a holiday together we'd already planned, after the hol we got back together but it lasted 2 minutes and he was bck to his old ways (so was i)..we were apart a further 5months, at which time i met someone new.

Out of respect I told him and I know it broke his heart! I treated him badly at this time, and thought id moved on, i ignored his calls, selectively chose when I would text back and so on (Really bad n mean)...anyway i realised this guy wasnt for me and like clockwork went crawling back to my ex, who strung me along for a week before dropping the bombshell that while he still loved me he'd moved on n fell in love with someone else

Hes with her now - it breaks my heart, he told me last night he loves me more than hes ever loved me and wishes things werent like this but he needs to see if it will work with her and if it doesnt he'll know i'm the one. I spend time with him now, and i love him to bits. But I dont know what to do? I've told him i'm dating someone else casually and he went crazy, telling me he was heartbroken all over again and wants to be happy for me but it kills him. I know we'll get back together ONE DAY but i dont know what to do? Please advise me!
