Heck no, I'll love a BMW frankly, but my bank account cannot. Likewise

I need a reliable car that's not too small , not too expensive, and the Jetta caught my eye, it's a Volkswagen.
The auto I have now is a 1992. I bought it new and it now has 100,000 miles on it. Finally I have never had problems with it, but the age/mileage is troubling me. Consiudering I am jobnless and may be for a year or more while I am in school, I have made the decision to get something new so I wont have to worry about a costlly repair bill hitting me when I can least afford it.
It is all part of the, I'm getting laid off preparedness plan. For example lOL
Fingers crossed, please don't let talking about it Jinx me, it has taken me a few more months than the original plan, but hopefully, I will be in the position to pay off my home shortly and possibly buy a new car by fall. That was the plan to be debt free, let's hope I am able to pull it off so I can concentrate on getting this school over with and reemployed.
Hey, if I don't have high expectations of myself how will I ever get anywhere, sorry you asked? LOL
