Thank you for your answer To tell the truth, I find it a bit weird that a University if giving online feedback about one's relationship. That sounds very unprofessional. Every respectable institution in this field holds personal meetings with personal questions - not general ones.

Aynegel:
Thanks for your response . The feedback we provide is in the form of relationship thermometers. These thermometers tell our participants how they perform in comparison to the average on six measures of relationship functioning. This is not meant to be in replace of professional counseling or consultation. Many of our couples find this feedback both informative and helpful. I pasted some feedback below that we have received from participants.

-I think it was really helpful not soo repetitive like most surveys...it makes you think about things that we normally take for granted or just don't really think through as much. Thank you appreciate your help.

-The survey was really great. The thermometers were a great visual touch

-I liked this survey it was a good tool to assess my satisfaction with my marriage and why it might be suffering. Thanks.

-I appreciated the opportunity to fill out the survey. It was interesting and helpful and I really liked the set up of the questions and the feedback very professional and easy to use!

People who decide to take our survey are usually interested in helping their relationship and providing valuable information on how we can better serve couples. We sincerely believe in the importance of this project and we hope you will visit our website. http://marriage.binghamton.edu/healthyrelationships/

Thanks again for your interest,
Rebecca & the Staff at the Healthy Relationships Project
