Confused!:S:S

I have a problem. My best friend which I've known for 12 years has a great crush on a girl. This crush is so bad he is even begging her out to go out with him.But she doesn't want to. About a month ago me and him had a fight because she talked to me more then she talks with him, and I've seen this a something very immature. She told him once or twice that she doesn't want but he cant accept this fact. The thing is...i also like this girl a lot, we click together, we have fun, things that show you its worth to try a relationship with her. Lately we've been talking and it turns out that she feels the same way...and i don't know what to do. I don't want to lose the relationship i have with my friend, but i don't want to lose a girl like her also, i feel that she's special, and this rarely happens to me.
I want to talk to him but i have a feeling he wont talk to me ever again considering the way he fought we me over her talking to me more than him

very, veryyyyy difficult situation. you don't wanna lose your friend and also don't want to be disloyal but still would like to see what results of dating a girl you really like but your friend is interested in as well...

there is no clear cut answer i'm afraid. the only thing i could advise you is to follow your heart (feelings) since those are most sincere
