Me and my ex broke up almost exactly a year ago, after we had been dating for a year. The ONLY reason we broke up was because I was going to college (yes, I'm older than him, but he's very very mature for his age- has siblings that are like 27-30).
During out relationship we never really fought. We got together like a glove on a hand really. Sure, we had petty disagreements but they were normally solved on the spot and forgotten without further incidence. I broke up with him after being at college for 3 months. The reasons I did so were 1) Thought maybe there would be old, hotter, guys 2) Afraid of having been in a relationship for so long (it was my longest and it scared me that things were so great) and 2) I didn't think the distance (it's 2 hours from school to home) was fair to either of us. Well, here it is, my second year of college. I still think about my ex almost every day although we haven't really spoken since we broke up. I've had a few flings but nothing worth speaking of. Sure, there are great guys here, but none give me the feeling of security and, just plain comfort, that me and my ex had.
Is it worth trying to start things back up with him? I know he might be trying to come to this college next year...I really regret the breakup and still feel incredibly attached to him. Thanks for your help.

Hello sawneybean48 , welcome to the forum
The best advice I can give is what I should do in your case: ask him!
