How do i make friends over the internt?

Strabo, I don't understand what you mean. If you lead an isolated life and are slow in laying contacts - I would suggest you try going out more and meet more people. I don't see how this has to do with the traffic on this forum though

are you saying i must make an investment,and put forth effort according to the desiring of success?

It's all about meeting new people and not having expectations. You can meet people online, out at the park.. it varies. All my friends come from different places: work, old classmates, internet, church... it can be from anywhere. I think what ayngel is saying when you go out, you can meet new people also.

It all depends on what type of social life you want. If you want to sit at home in front of a PC then surf the net and join the different communities. If it's person to person contact you're looking for then get out and about. Go to clubs, bars, restaurants, community events and things of that nature.

i think i was more after people on the net because they have to be smart enough to use a computer, and there is such a wider gene pool online.

i live outside of a town, not in a city.

also my health limits my mobility, although not as much as it did.

so this seems preferable, especially to the shy...!

Yeah, true. But I've known a girl online for over 10 years, never met her in person before and she's kinda like the person who I can tell things to because it won't spread around. It's probably not what you're looking for but there are places online where you can meet people in person at a later date.

i don't quite know what you are saying here,but my friend list is low.

anyway my motivation (for seeking online friends) changes with my mood,from loneliness to amorousness.

and sometimes i don't feel that need.
