i told him i liked him and he told me i was second on his list

i have liked this guy for a year and i have kept it bottled up for a year. i finally told him i liked him him and this was his answer:

look, its yes and no. yes, i do like you, but i like somebody else more.

what should i do? just accept it?

That depends. Do you want to wait? You like him more than he likes you.

He sounds like an idiot to me but at least he was honest and didn't mess you around. Its now upto you what you want to do with the answer he gave you, do you want to stick around for when the thing with the girl he likes more doesn't work out so he comes to you or do you want to move on and find a guy who thinks of you as number 1 not number 2?

If you really loved and cared for yourself you would forget about him, you can do so much better Easy to say but I've had plenty of my share of relationship/dating troubles, its never easy but if you don't love yourself who will love you?

i completly agree with arianna... he is never gonna love u as much as u love him.. and he ll always consider u to be his second choice and i ddon know about u but i would definately not want tat.. make ur choice wisely... all the best!
