That's right
True love can move mountains and it sounds like you both love each other very much. Hope after three years you are still together.. My advice to you is to believe in yourself, doubt can ruin a relationship and it will be the last thing your girlfriend will want to hear, turn it into positive instead.

hey well i think if you guys trust each other it will be alright. you have to trust her a lot. and uni/college is difficul you will meet loads of people. and the distance is complicated too but there is always a way to contact each other skype etc. : ) and even taking a train once a weekend or once a month if once a week is not possibile.
wish you all the best!

DO NOT BREAK UP WITH HER!!! YOU WILL HURT HER EXTREMLEY AND MAYBE FOREVER AND MAY END UP HURTING YOURSELF AS WELL THEN END UP LIVING IN A CONSTANT REGRET WHILE SHE MAY BE LEFT WITH AN EMOTIONAL SCAR. im just thinking from my point of view (a girl), if it isnt meant to be or if something eventually drifts you two apart, let it go slowly, dont break it off especially since she told you she wants YOU. wait until you guys get to college and decide from there.

dont let fear override hope. when you care for someone you take that leap of faith. Its your first love so your even more scared. we all are. every relationship you encounter in life, there is that possibility. give her the benefit of the doubt. if she loves you, you shouldnt have anything to worry about. and if you do get hurt, thats life. we have all been there. it sucks, but you move on and then your just one step closer to meeting the right one

Not for a while, at least...

She has a volleyball scholarship, and I have to stay in state for school. Both of our families are struggling financially.

I may be able to go to her school in fall 2012. Almost 3 years from now.

I am in a horrible bind, but I don't want to give up on her. She's a very special person to me. The MOST special. I want her to do well in life, and I want her in my life. So, I can't just say "you're out of my life". She IS my life. Everything I do, I use her as my motivation.

It's almost like...no matter how hard I try, I can't just give up on her. I care about her and love her too much.
