Now when you say gaming, like in video games.
You could always pick up a video-game console and game with him. My Girlfriend did that and now she kicks my butt all the time so I prefer just to have a conversation with her. JK.
But seriously, if he plays a lot, and you really want to communicate with him more, play with him.
ask him what he recommends you start off with and see if he can help you (I know it's long distance, but it's possible).
There's no bigger turn on (unless you're a sore loser) than being beaten at your own game by your partner)
