what should i do next to get my ex back?

Hey, I need help with something...
I have been broken up with my ex boyfriend for about 4 months..but im still deaply in love with him..when we broke up he said that he still wanted to be my friend cause he didnt want me out of his life compleatelly, at first i told him i couldn't because i loved him so much, but eventually i saod ok. We have talked sometimes and it was good, but at some times i made the mistake of telling him i wanted him back and he would just get frustrated and angry..so i stoped doing that. And our conversations are good now, but there's only been like 2. But when i text him or call him he doesn't return my calls or my messeges. So i don't know what to do. I was thinking of telling him that if he needs more time before we can talk than its ok, i respect that, but if you just cant be my friend let me know and i'll be out of your life compleately...or I was just thinking on not contacting him for like a month or 2, to give him his space since i didn't give him much when we first broke up...what should i do? You should also know that i want to get back together with him, i don't care how much time i have to wait...im willing to wait, but what do you think i should do so that i dont ruin my progress with him?. .Last messege that i sent him i asked him how he was, he didn't answer me so at the end of the day i told him that i understood if he didn't want to answer,(not ready) but if he didn't want a friendship with me to let me know...and he didn't answer anything...what should i do??please help me...should i write him that or give him his space?

LuLu, don't run after him. No matter how much you want him back. If he didn't answer twice just leave him be. (Although that is probably heartbreaking for you). By not answering he in fact gave his answer....
