Who bothers going to clubs and discos anymore when "out on the pull?" I used to go to them a lot in the 80's and 90's, but don't bother much now, as these places seem to have really deterioted in the dodgy clientele they seem to attract - namely drunken yobs and aggressive laddettes.
Sadly, even some of the pubs I used to frequent have gone down, with stupid yob idiots stumbling in and generally making a nuisance of themselves.
It is very difficult now to find a good night out in Britain, what with the way these drunken yobs have allowed to proliferate.
Dinner dances, it seems, are the only way to go to have a reasonable and trouble-free night out. But they are so expensive though, and you need to be in a good job to go to them.
