8 years ago I fell in love with a man I work with. We are both married to other people - me unhappily so. He has 2 children and a close extended family.
We are soulmates and text, email and see each other most days. He knows how deeply I feel about him and I know he is struggling to contain his feelings towards me.
I don't want to put him in an awkward position with regard to his family so I need to stop feeling like this.
I just can't stop. He is constantly on my mind - I feel like an addict and I feel depressed and empty without him. If I last for four days without contact, because I'm trying to live without him - I end up so upset. Would hypnotherapy help?

Lamp, welcome to the forum

Some things in life aren't easy to accept and require a lot of willpower to go through. I think you are right. You could probably ask for consulting to help you get through the first rough period. I assume there are various institutions in the U.S. one can address to for help, no? I advise you to do so.

Kuddos for your decision to want to stop feeling about him like you do
